Fisherman’s Mission fund-raiser at Britz
With the help and support of our customers we have raise £3502.86 for the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen (RNMDSF). This has been done via donations in our large charity box (it is child friendly and when the money is placed in it rotates round and round until falling in the box), and other fund raising events.
The RNMDSF is a charity who support the families, widows and children, of the fishermen who are lost and injured at sea. The real cost of fishing is their lives. Fishing ranks as the most dangerous occupation. A cheque presentation will be taking place at 2:00p.m. at Britz on Tuesday 7th April with Tim Mowat from the Mission, Helen Houghton (Company Standards Manager), myself (Martin West) and staff from Coach Caterers who run Britz.
